2025 PTO Mini Grant Recipients Spotlight
We are thrilled to celebrate our PTO-funded Strategic Plan Mini Grant recipients and the incredible learning experiences they’re bringing to our students from preschool through middle school! Over $4300 was granted during a special section of the Board of Education meeting in December 2025 to fund a wide variety of projects… and the most awesome part is that every student in the district will be impacted!
Growing Minds & Gardens
Our youngest Pre-K learners will celebrate during their Mothers Day Tea all while building community, nurturing gardens, and learning that just like plants, people need care to grow—academically, socially, and emotionally.
Inclusion & Empathy in Action
Students PK–5 will experience powerful lessons in acceptance through an Eagles Autism Foundation assembly and hands-on activities that help them see the world through different perspectives.
KinderGarden Creations
Hands-on gardens for K–1 students will connect science, literacy, math, and SEL while fostering responsibility, teamwork, and environmental stewardship.
STEAM Comes Alive
From innovative STEAM programming in grades K–5 to first graders lighting up artwork with solar and battery-powered circuits, curiosity and creativity are taking center stage.
History Brought to Life
Fourth graders will step into the past with a Wax Museum experience—researching, presenting, and performing as historical figures for families and the community.
Middle School Innovation & Expression
Upgraded STEM equipment will allow grades 6–8 to design and build with precision with Chomp cardboard saws, while “Stage Ready: Empowering Middle School Voices Through Drama” encourages students to find their voices through storytelling and creative collaboration.
These Mini Grant projects inspire curiosity, build empathy, strengthen skills, and deepen community connections. Thank you to our amazing staff for putting the “T” in PTO and always striving for the best for our students, and our Board of Education for helping us coordinate and giving us the opportunity to put our fundraiser proceeds to great use!
